Algonquin’s Ryan Roman accumulated more than 8,000 votes to earn last week’s honor. Choose below to vote for the new Daily News boys lacrosse player of the week.

Nick Boomer, Ashland  

The junior scored four goals with two assists in a win over Dedham Thursday. 

Zach Cormier, Assabet  

Cormier stood tall and stopped 21 shots in a win over Monty Tech.

Brady Carroll, Bellingham  

The senior scored a hat trick with an assist in win over Norton last Monday. 

Coby Ehrlich, Westborough  

The freshman scored eight goals in a win over Oakmont and netted four more goals and had an assist vs. North Middlesex. 

Connor Hume, AMSA 

The junior made seven saves in a win over Blackstone Valley last Monday.

Luke Lewis, Hudson  

He scored four goals in a 9-3 win over Assabet Valley on Friday. 

Brady Malo, Lincoln-Sudbury 

The junior scored five goals and added two assists in a win over Needham. 

Jack O’Connor, Franklin  

He scored five goals with an assist in a victory over Taunton on Thursday. 

Ben Peshler, Blackstone Valley Tech  

The junior from Upton scored three goals and had an assist vs. Bellingham on Wednesday. 

Ryan Roman, Algonquin 

Also a junior, Roman tallied four goals for the Titans in a win over Grafton and added two goals against Nashoba. 

Jack Rotella, Wellesley 

The sophomore made 15 saves in a win over Newton North on Tuesday. 

Gavin Shipos, Medway  

The senior erupted for eight goals and had an assist in a win over Bellingham and scored four more against Ashland.
