Daisy Edgar-Jones joined members of the cast and creative team behind “On Swift Horses” for the film’s screening on Thursday in New York City. The “Normal People” breakout star opted for sleek modernity for her attire at the special event.

For the occasion, Edgar-Jones styled a look courtesy of Khaite. The crisp white maxidress featured a fitted silhouette with fabric draping on the bodice for added definition. The crepe-satin sleeveless look included a square neckline and slightly cinched waist.

An exposed seam ran down the front of the garment, providing sartorial tension and further modernizing the dress for a holistic contemporary design. Edgar-Jones paired the look with sandal heels for the springtime evening in the Big Apple.

As for her glam, Edgar-Jones went classic. Her brunette hair was styled with a side part and worn with soft, flowing waves with side-swept fringe to frame her face, courtesy of stylist Bryce Scarlett. Edgar-Jones’ makeup featured bold brows, lined eyes and a slightly glossed lip by artist Misha Shahzada. The actress’ look was curated by stylist Dani Michelle, who also collaborates with Kendall Jenner and Jessica Alba, among others.

Edgar-Jones’ style often caters to modern designs and unique silhouettes. During her time promoting the 2024 summer blockbuster “Twisters,” the actress styled such looks as a backless Gucci gown with a twisted neckline and a metallic minidress from Givenchy’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection.

Throughout Edgar-Jones’ “On Swift Horses” promotional tour, stylist Dani Michelle curated several designer looks for the actress. Edgar-Jones has worn styles by Shushu Tong, Calvin Klein and Chloé among other designers and fashion labels.

Based on Shannon Pufahl’s 2019 novel of the same name, “On Swift Horses” follows Muriel, played by Edgar-Jones, and her husband Lee, played by Will Poulter, whose lives are upended by the arrival of Lee’s brother Julius, played by Jacob Elordi. The film hits theaters April 25.
