Ayesha Curry stepped out on Wednesday night for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art event Art Bash in San Francisco. The “Irish Wish” actress attended the event alongside Gap Inc.’s executive vice president and creative director, Zac Posen.

For the special occasion, Curry opted for a custom design courtesy of GapStudios. The shimmering gold dress featured an off-the-shoulder design with loose sleeves and a body-con-inspired skirt that created a formfitting silhouette.

Curry’s look also included corsetry-inspired detail with contrasting fabric at the waist, featuring exposed boning details and construction. Along with the dress, Curry added some Western styling flair with a pair of cowgirl boots in brown and blue colorways, featuring intricate embroidery.

“The Full Plate” cookbook author posed for photos alongside Posen, who styled a white button-down dress shirt with a muted brown suit, complete with a double-breasted blazer. Posen’s appearance alongside Curry at the SFMOMA Art Bash event comes shortly after the designer debuted the first GapStudio by Zac Posen collection.

The collection marks Gap Inc.’s first under the GapStudio banner. Styles from the collection featured long-held attributes of Posen’s designs, including tailoring and fabric draping, as well as creative uses of textiles and color.

“Inside Gap’s New York HQ, we’ve built a creative studio where I’ve designed looks for the red carpet, and where we’ll continue to collaborate with visionary talent in the future,” Posen said via statement. “GapStudio Collection 01 reflects that vision — blending tailoring with innovative denim treatments that sculpt and refine the fabric in new ways. This is just the beginning.”

Posen joined Gap in February 2024 and has since brought his signature Zac Posen atelier flair to the retailer. Back in May 2024, Anne Hathaway wore the viral deconstructed Gap shirtdress by Posen leaving the Bulgari Hotel in Rome.
