I’ll Have What She’s Having: Here’s Jennifer Aniston’s Exact Coffee Order

A few weeks ago, Jennifer Aniston and I met over Zoom to discuss her oft-admired exercise routine. Though it was significantly earlier on the West Coast, where Aniston was located, she was perky—the perfect foil to my needs-another-coffee East Coast exhaustion.

Seeking inspiration, I asked: “What’s your morning routine like?”

“Well, I wake up,” she started. The next thing she said was surprising: “And I put so much shit in my coffee.”

We live in a maxxing-obsessed world: There was sleepmaxxing, looksmaxxing, and now, we’re on to coffeemaxxing—the idea of maximizing your coffee’s potential by adding supercharged ingredients. Aniston, it appears, is a fan of the trend.

“I put in Vital Proteins peptides, a type of Stevia, which I do feel like somebody has said is bad for me, then lactose-free milk,” she explains. “Next, get in there and blend. I like to use a hand-held blender to mix it all up so it tastes great.”

And why, exactly, does Aniston put collagen in her coffee? “Collagen is a protein found in the body that plays a crucial role in various tissues, including skin, bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments,” board-certified celebrity dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban previously told Vogue. “We need it because as we age, our body’s natural collagen production decreases, leading to various signs of aging and reduced structural support in tissues.” Aniston’s collagen of choice, the Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides, has 20 grams of unflavored peptides in a single serving.

Then came this confession: “I also add in something that’s probably my poison. I can’t even confess what it is, but it has a really nice hazelnut flavor.” Hey, you only live once—no judgment here.
