In the aftermath of the TikTok-fueled office siren trend, a flock of young actors have embraced the skirt suit. Now, Daisy Edgar-Jones is joining their ranks.
The British actor has turned to power suiting to promote her film, On Swift Horses, which she stars in alongside Jacob Elordi, Diego Calva, and Will Poulter. For an appearance on The Today Show, Edgar-Jones embraced a more traditional notion of businesswear. Styled by Dani Michelle, she looked ready to command a boardroom wearing a set from Calvin Klein Collection’s fall 2025 return to the runway. In a look worn on the runway by Angelina Kendall, Edgar-Jones donned a collarless gray blazer with a power shoulder and a workplace-friendly skirt that fell just below the knee. She added a pair of matching gray pumps and, for a touch of movie star cool, slim black sunglasses.
But for a spot on Live with Kelly & Mark, Edgar-Jones ratcheted up the playfulness in a deconstructed set from Shushu/Tong’s spring 2025 collection. She wore a cropped navy top with a double collar and an ultra-high-waisted pencil skirt with a trompe l’oeil top layer left unzipped. She wore the navy skirt suit over a pair of black ribbed tights and slipped on black patent leather slingbacks.
Be it traditional 1980s power suiting or a more modern NSFW interpretation, Daisy Edgar-Jones isn’t leaving any suits behind on her latest press tour.
