The Los Angeles Rams currently have two picks on the second day of the 2025 NFL Draft. As of this writing, L.A. owns the Nos. 46 (from the Atlanta Falcons trade) and 90 picks.
The Rams reportedly tried to trade up to take a receiver in the first round but could still snag a quality pass catcher in the second or third rounds of the draft. Only four receivers were taken Thursday night, which leaves a lot of quality players on the board for either of the Rams’ picks.
Here are 10 receivers the Rams could take on Day 2 of the draft:
Luther Burden III, Missouri
Burden was mocked to the Rams a few times during the pre-draft process, but in the first round. Now that he’s fallen out of the first day, the Rams could still swoop in snag him if he lasts until pick No. 46 or by trading up if they want him that badly.
Higgins was a fringe first-round prospect heading into the draft but now sits as one of the top options left on the board for Day 2. He caught 140 passes for 2,166 yards and 15 touchdowns in his two seasons at Iowa State and stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 214 pounds.
Jaylin Noel, Iowa State
Another Cyclone, Noel is built similarly to Cooper Kupp and could earn that role in the offense alongside Davante Adams and Puka Nacua. He’d need to beat out Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington first, though. The Athletic‘s Jourdan Rodrigue predicted the Rams would trade back and take Noel with their first pick.
Jack Bech, TCU
Bech has been compared to Nacua and Kupp, which makes him potentially a perfect fit the Sean McVay’s offense. He was ultra-prolific at TCU with 62 receptions for 1,034 yards and nine touchdowns in 2024.
Kyle Williams, Washington State
Williams is fast and averaged 17.1 yards per catch in 2024. He’d be a big-play threat for the Rams that would allow Nacua and Adams to do more work at other areas of the field.
Isaiah Bond, Texas
Bond is another speedster who would give L.A. a different type of weapon on offense. While he wasn’t super productive in college, he averaged 14.4 yards per reception and rushed the ball four times for 98 yards in 2024.
Savion Williams, TCU
Williams was a versatile player for the Horned Frogs as someone who can catch or run out of the backfield. He finished the 2024 season with 933 scrimmage yards and 12 total touchdowns on 111 touches. Williams has a massive frame, too, at 6-foot-5 and 212 pounds.
The Rams reportedly met with TeSlaa before the draft, so the interest is there. The big-bodied receiver caught 28 receptions for 545 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games for the Razorbacks in 2024. He also had a great combine after running a 4.43 40-yard dash and posting a 39.5-inch vertical jump.
Tory Horton, Colorado State
Horton had two incredible seasons in 2022 and 2023 before a knee injury ended his 2024 season early. During those two seasons prior to 2024, though, Horton caught 167 receptions for 2,267 yards and 16 touchdowns. L.A. also met with him at the NFL Combine. If the Rams are comfortable with his medicals, Horton could be a nice Day 2 steal.
