For Marco Bicego, goldsmithing is a generational art. The Italian designer, who inherited the craft from his father, launched his eponymous line in 2000—and now, 25 years later, he’s celebrating a quarter-century of fine jewelry. To mark the occasion, Bicego hosted an intimate dinner at Mother Wolf, the in-demand Italian eatery in Los Angeles, joined by friends of the brand.

Tucked away in a private room at the West Hollywood hotspot, the evening began with cocktails and a curated display of Bicego’s most iconic pieces—including several from the brand’s founding years. “It’s the timeless pieces that I’m most excited about,” Bicego told Vogue. “Not what’s new.” Among the standouts: a dome-shaped, diamond-encrusted cocktail ring, designs featuring his signature twisted gold chains, and an $89,000 necklace composed of irregularly shaped, brushed gold spheres.

After drinks and hors d’oeuvres, guests—including Kate Hudson, Mindy Kaling, and stylist Karla Welch—sat for a family-style dinner. The menu opened with golden-fried risotto croquettes (Supplì al Telefono) and delicate squash blossoms (Fiori di Zucca), followed by a spread of pizza and pasta, and a main course of branzino. Tiramisu and scoops of gelato rounded out the meal.

As candles flickered and dessert made its final pass, guests received gift bags to mark the milestone—because what’s a 25th birthday without a little something sweet?
