Indianapolis Colts Day 3 mock

Given who the Colts have picked so far, what might a Day 3 NFL mock draft look like for them?

Through the first three rounds of the 2025 NFL draft, the Indianapolis Colts have selected tight end Tyler Warren, defensive end JT Tuimoloau, and cornerback Justin Walley.

But now, what might Day 3 look like?

The Colts will enter Round 4 through 7 with four selections in total–one in each of the remaining rounds.

Using Pro Football Focus’ mock draft simulator, here is how things played out for the Colts on Day 3 of the draft.

Colts pick at 117: Marcus Mbow, OL, Purdue

I am a bit surprised that Chris Ballard hasn’t addressed this position already. To me, the question mark at right guard is a big one. However, landing Mbow here is a terrific value. He has tackle experience and can provide depth there off the bench or provide some competition at guard for Matt Goncalves.

Colts pick at 151: Jarquez Hunter, RB, Auburn

This year’s running back class is way too good to pass up. The addition of Khalil Herbert also shouldn’t stop the Colts from adding to this position, which is one where more production behind Jonathan Taylor is needed, along with a greater pass-catching presence. Hunter had 90 targets in four seasons and ranked 19th in missed tackles forced in the run game in 2024.

Colts pick at 189: Kobe King, LB, Penn State

Getting King at this stage of the draft is a good value pick. He can provide depth and special teams help right away, which is needed here for the Colts. However, I don’t know that he gives Jaylon Carlies much competition for the starting role next to Zaire Franklin, but I also don’t think Ballard was too concerned about that either.

Colts pick at 232: Hunter Wohler, S, Wisconsin

The Colts added Cam Bynum, but safety remains a need. Behind Bynum and Nick Cross on the depth chart are Rodney Thomas, Marcel Dabo, and Daniel Scott. In 2026, both Cross and Thomas are free agents. Wohler can provide strong safety depth.
