The NFL Draft doesn’t make or break a team’s seasonal outlook, but it can certainly help. And after the Los Angeles Rams drafted six players in the 2025 NFL Draft, the team’s path toward another Super Bowl is looking a little better than it did even a week ago.
We compiled power rankings from a few different experts throughout the NFL media world. All of them picked the Rams as a top-10 team, though where L.A. fell among that upper-echelon varied.
Here is a roundup of the NFL post-draft power rankings for the Rams.
“Matthew Stafford is a hit away from ruining Los Angeles’s season, but the Rams should still wreak havoc if he’s healthy.”
“I really have to credit the Rams for their approach. It’s not easy to butter both sides of the bread — adding pieces for a potential title run in the short term while also compiling for the future — but that’s exactly what Les Snead and Co. have done. Perhaps the Falcons’ trade offer should be classified as pennies from heaven, allowing the Rams to extract a 2026 first-round pick for the cost of sliding down a mere 20 spots, but L.A. took it and deservedly get the credit. Trading up three times on Day 3 reinforced the urgency the Rams are facing with Matthew Stafford in the twilight of his career. I thought they might target the offensive line in the draft, but their free agency moves helped there.”
“The Rams are set to make another run at an NFC title. Adding Davante Adams will provide juice to an offense that lacked playmakers outside of Puka Nacua last season, and second-round tight end Terrance Ferguson could help as well.”
“Matthew Stafford will be throwing to Puka Nakua and Davante Adams and handing off to Kyren Williams and a young, growing defense means business.”

“No team has improved its outlook more from the start of the offseason than the Los Angeles Rams.
“Sean McVay’s team looked like it might be headed for a rebuild while entertaining Matthew Stafford trade offers. Instead, Stafford is sticking around, and now gets to target one of the best receiver duos in the NFL with Davante Adams added to pair up with Puka Nacua.
“The Rams ranked 11th in PFSN’s Offense+ rankings last year despite Stafford finishing 22nd among quarterbacks. A more typical season from him could vault Los Angeles into the top-five range, and that might be even likelier if Terrance Ferguson (LA’s first selection of the 2025 draft) can make an impact out of the gates.
“The defense remains an extremely young unit that was boom-or-bust for much of 2024. However, the unit’s upside is higher than the 24th-place ranking would imply, particularly with a rapidly developing pass rush that piled up 16 sacks in two playoff games.
“The Rams look like clear NFC West favorites, with the upside to potentially return to the Super Bowl.”
