Founder: Marie du Petit Thouars

Origin Story: Marie du Petit Thouars grew up in Belgium, playing in her grandfather’s nursery while making candles and experimenting with scents in her mother’s greenhouse. Inspired by her family’s botanical history (Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars discovered many plant specimens and brought them back to France in the early 1800s), du Petit Thouars founded Maison Louis Marie in 2013. 

The brand offers luxury candles, perfumes and skin care that focus on unique floral fragrances. Maison Louis Marie’s products are formulated without “toxic” ingredients such as parabens, phthalates, sulfates and formaldehyde.
