Victoria’s Secret delays earnings release after security incident

Victoria’s Secret is postponing its first quarter 2025 earnings release following a security incident involving the company’s information technology systems on May 24. Victoria’s Secret temporarily shut down its corporate systems and e-commerce website on May 26. The website was restored on May 29, and the brand is working to restore full access to corporate systems. The company said the incident did not impact its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal 2025, but the restoration process prevented employees from accessing certain systems and information needed to support the release of its results. {Victoria’s Secret}

Why tariffs haven’t led to soaring prices — yet

Fashion labels of every size are being forced to rethink their pricing strategies amid fluctuating tariffs imposed by Donald Trump. Some brands have opted for blanket price hikes (E.l.f. Beauty announced a $1 across-the-board increase), while others are holding the line by not yet passing the cost of tariffs onto the consumer. The highest tariffs won’t go into effect until July, and a U.S. trade court has since ruled some tariffs unconstitutional. {Business of Fashion/paywalled}
