Miley Cyrus kept a pointed foot forward at the Tribeca Film Festival on Friday night, wearing a tonal nude look that continued the structured footwear through line she’s maintained throughout her “Something Beautiful” press tour.

For the occasion, Cyrus opted for Paris Texas’s Lydia Slingback Heels in ivory patent leather. The pumps featured sharply pointed toes, slim stiletto heels and a slingback strap, offering a structured base that echoed the neutral palette of the rest of her look without taking away from the fringe or other standout details.

Cyrus paired the shoes with a Schiaparelli gown by Daniel Roseberry. The netted, naked dress from the house’s spring 2025 couture collection was covered in crystal drop embellishments and styled with a coordinating fringe stole that extended into a floor-length train. A matching Schiaparelli Anatomy top handle bag and Boucheron jewelry completed the look. The outfit was styled by longtime collaborator Bradley Kenneth.

The Paris Texas heels mark the latest entry in a string of directional footwear choices. On Thursday, Cyrus wore brown pointed-toe stilettos with a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier corset dress from fall 1990. Earlier in the week, she selected glossy black ankle-strap pumps with a late-1990s Thierry Mugler dress for an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” She also wore pointed black pumps with a sleeveless top and leather miniskirt, and platform heels with a structured Mugler minidress from spring 2025.

At a Spotify event in early May, she chose knee-high McQueen boots to pair with a brown leather skirt and oversized biker jacket by the brand. In each case, Cyrus’s footwear introduced a sense of structure, often contrasting more fluid silhouettes or balancing high-impact textures with restrained shapes. Even at a Chanel luncheon earlier that day, she stayed within the theme, pairing black Mary Janes with a pleated skirt and vest.

“Seeing Something Beautiful on the big screen at @tribeca @beacontheatre surrounded by the screams of the audience, was so worth every bit of effort lovingly labored into this visual album. Tonight was emotional, deep, fun & fabulous. All my favorite things, but YOU the crowd were my absolute favorite of all. I love you,” Cyrus shared on Instagram following the premiere.

The 2025 Tribeca Film Festival, running through June 15, has centered music-heavy programming with premieres from artists including Billy Joel, Miley Cyrus, Turnstile and Depeche Mode — further blurring the line between musicians’ stagewear and red carpet fashion.
