At the National Hispanic Media Coalition’s Impact Awards Gala on June 6, Isabella Merced extended her tonal dressing streak, pairing a sculptural Tory Burch gown with sleek camel stilettos.

“The Last of Us” star wore sharply pointed, high-heeled pumps in a warm camel tone with a smooth leather finish. Crafted with a high stiletto heel and a low vamp, the minimalist silhouette echoed the gown’s muted beige hue. Their clean design allowed the sculpted folds of the one-shoulder dress — complete with a twisted, padded shoulder knot and cascading tassel accent — to remain the focal point.

Merced’s gown, from Tory Burch’s fall 2025 collection, followed a clean, column silhouette with gentle ruching along the waist and hips. The plush, suede-like fabric gave the look a sculptural softness, while the hemline fell just above the ankle, drawing attention to her camel stilettos.

She wore her hair in a sleek, side-parted finger wave — a vintage-inspired style that played well with the gown’s sculptural, old-Hollywood silhouette. She finished the look with vintage-inspired filigree earrings and a deep wine manicure that stood out against the muted palette.

This isn’t her first monochrome match. In early April, at “The Last of Us” Season 2 premiere in Sydney, Merced wore a silver Diesel RTW gown with oil-slick heels that mirrored the plated fringe. Just days earlier, she paired a strapless Ashi Studio couture gown with sky-high black Jimmy Choo peep-toe pumps, keeping the look cohesive from head to toe.

Merced has a clear styling pattern: her shoes rarely compete with the rest of her look. Whether it’s silver heels that pick up on a dress’s metallic finish, black pumps that blend into a dramatic silhouette or camel stilettos that echo a gown’s texture, she tends to keep her palette tight and deliberate.

At the National Hispanic Media Coalition’s Impact Awards Gala, where Merced received the Next Generation Impact Award, other honorees included “Acapulco,” “Cobra Kai,” Phil Lord, Rey Mysterio, Daniella Pineda and Cris Abrego. The event, co-hosted by Al Madrigal and Jessica Marie Garcia, celebrated excellence in Hispanic media representation.
