What: A New York-based skin-care brand using patent-pending regenerative technology created by Xylyx Bio in its formulas.

Price Range: $135 – $170

Founder: Alec Batis

Origin Story: Sweet Chemistry was founded in collaboration with Xylyx Bio, a biomedical technology company focused on tissue engineering and organ rehabilitation. The brand bills itself as positioned “at the intersection of regenerative medicine and uncompromising cosmetic science”: It seeks to improve and preserve the “five known characteristics of youthful skin: strength, elasticity, pliability, density and tone.”

Used as a system or separately, each product utilizes the power of the Matrikynes Regenerative Peptides, derived from upcycled cow bones, and transforms the skin with 45% of the formula made up of active ingredients that are pesticide-free, smartly preserved and minimally processed.
