California-based designer Doni Nahmias is taking his love for sneakers to the next step.
This week during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, Nahmias previewed his new collaboration with Puma. Slated to debut in early 2026, the collaborative collection features three Puma Suede sneakers designed by Nahmias.
Among the versions seen is a pair of off-white canvas Puma Suede sneakers with a pink knit formstrip on the side of the shoe. The style is finished with chunky, multicolored laces and a cobranded Puma x Nahmias logo tag on the tongue. Another version is seen in a black colorway with a white leather formstrip and off-white chunky laces.
For Nahmias, this was the next step in his journey to build the best sneakers for his brand, which he started in 2018.
“We were able to blend our California-rooted aesthetic with a silhouette that’s already marked its place in sneaker history,” Nahmias told FN. “The goal was to bring new Nahmias codes into the sneaker while still respecting the legacy of the Suede.”
Nahmias first got into the shoe game in the spring/summer 2023 season, when the designer launched the “Five-O.” At the time of the launch, Nahmias told FN that the style merges two of his favorite shoes to create a low top basketball silhouette featuring a higher platform and an air bubble detail on the sole.

The designer followed up with his second shoe, “The Ollie,” in his fall/winter 2024 collection. According to Nahmias, the low-top shoe’s design is meant to capture the mountainous ranges that meet the water throughout California and features an upper inspired by a popular skate shoe paired with an exaggerated sole made of lightweight materials.
As for Puma, it has been busy this week in Paris rolling out even more collaborations.
On Wednesday, Puma unveiled its collaboration with designer Salehe Bembury at an event celebrating the release of the designer’s first lifestyle silhouette with the brand – the Velum. At the event, 100 pre-release pairs of the sneaker were available exclusively. Bembury himself greeted guests and signed the first pairs of his new collaboration.
To round out the experience, Puma is bringing elements of the H-Street installation, introduced during the recent launch in Seoul, to Paris. Visitors will have an exclusive chance to preview the low-profile silhouette up close, ahead of its official launch later in June.
