8 Major Trends From the Resort 2026 Collections

In-between seasons like resort may not get the fanfare of spring and fall fashion weeks, with most designers releasing simple lookbooks in lieu of big runway shows, but they’re still worth paying attention to. Typically designed with commercial appeal at top of mind, they signal which trends are likely to really take off in the market, and can hint at what’s to come on the spring runways in September.

For Resort 2026, we’re seeing designers double down on fledgling trends from prior seasons, like boho-chic, polka dots and scarf prints. There’s also an unexpected color trend on the rise, a foil to the the alleged skinny-jean resurgence and a case for warm-weather turtlenecks.

Keep scrolling for the most noteworthy trends from designers’ Resort 2026 collections.

Small Top / Big Bottom

Designers like Ferragamo, Kallmeyer and Victoria Beckham are doing their part to stave of the impending skinny-pant resurgence by committing to wide, baggy trouser silhouettes. Belted low-waist styles paired with smaller, more form-fitting tops are particularly popular for resort.
