Nike, Inc.’s Jordan Brand surprised fans during New York Fashion Week last September when the label’s most talked-about sneaker from the event wasn’t an Air Jordan model, but instead a brand new shoe known as the Jordan Flight Court.

It was revealed via a collaboration with Who Decides War and designed by the New York City-based streetwear brand’s co-founder, Téla D’Amore. Now, following the launch of that pair, Who Decides War is back with its second spin on the Jordan Flight Court.

The new Who Decides War x Jordan Flight Court mixes a Coconut Milk/Varsity Red/Muslin color combination for a look that is nearly a polar opposite of their first project. Shifting from a dark to a light look, the multi-material model mixes leather and suede with denim-like textile panels that reference Who Decides War’s medium of choice. 

This is all done in an off-white Coconut Milk shade, with more yellowed Muslin sections adding a pre-aged appearance. Embroidery that evokes denim distressing (another Who Decides War staple) is scattered throughout the upper, while the Jumpman logo is superimposed above the Who Decides War window pane logo at the heel.

Released exclusively in women’s sizing, the first Who Decides War x Jordan Flight Court has commanded a price premium in larger sizes. Certain pairs are reselling for more than double the original retail price of $115, an occurrence which usually only occurs with the more established Air Jordan silhouettes. 

But with the Flight Court and other recently introduced models, Jordan Brand has found a new lane in inexpensive, on-trend designs. The brand’s skate-inspired Session sneaker is set to launch this year at a retail price of $90, while the new $115 Trunner O/S model is already beginning to drum up some hype. 

Who Decides War was founded in 2018 by D’Amore and Everard “Ev Bravado” Best. The brand specializes in denim jeans and apparel with custom distressing and embellishments. In addition to the ongoing collaborations with Jordan Brand, Who Decides War has teased its own in-house footwear including the HKRS 001.

As of publishing, the Who Decides War x Jordan Flight Court Coconut Milk is set to be released this summer, but an exact release date has not been confirmed. The collaboration will retail for $115 and has a style code HQ2958-100. Like the black colorway, this pair will come solely in women’s sizing.
