Fear of God Taps 2 Chainz to Debut Its Atlanta-inspired Collection

Fear of God is deepening its ties to the sports community by launching a new capsule collection honoring Atlanta, the city where the 2025 MLB All- Star Week will take place starting on Friday.

On Thursday, the brand founded by Jerry Lorenzo Manuel Jr., son of former MLB player Jerry Manuel, announced the Atlanta Capsule, featuring collaborative pieces with the city’s big three teams: the Braves (MLB), Falcons (NFL) and Hawks (NBA). The capsule collection also pays tribute to the influence of the Negro Leagues, with nods to the Monarchs, Black Crackers, Black Yankees, Grays and X-Giants.

The collection includes exclusive hats made in collaboration with New Era, sweatshirts and batting gloves developed in partnership with Franklin Sports. Some of the pieces feature archival artwork of phrases “We Won’t Move” and “Freedom Now,” which appeared on protest posters in Atlanta during the Civil Rights Movement.

To promote the collection, Fear of God created a campaign featuring Atlanta native 2 Chainz, who was photographed by Chris Rhodes.

Fear of God has a strong presence in the sports world. In November, the brand announced a multiyear partnership with the NBA and WNBA to fill the demand for “elevated and aspiration” fan merchandise.

“Sport shapes and informs the emotion, point of view and the very fabric of what we do and who we are as a brand. Our nuanced understanding of this space and its parallels to fashion are embedded in our DNA,” Lorenzo said at the time.

The Atlanta Capsule will be available exclusively at The Webster in Atlanta at Lenox Square mall on Friday and later on fearofgod.com. The 2025 MLB All-Star Week will be hosted in Atlanta at Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves, from Friday through Tuesday, culminating in the 95th annual MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday.
