Cleveland legends CC Sabathia, Manny Ramirez have sons in the 2025 MLB Draft

There are a couple of familiar names to Cleveland baseball fans that are available to be picked in the 2025 MLB Draft.

Manny Ramirez Jr. and Carsten Sabathia are both draft eligible.

Ramirez Jr. is the son of the legendary right-handed hitter Manny Ramirez. Sabathia is the son of the Hall of Fame lefty CC Sabathia (CC stands for Carsten Charles).

Neither is a top-tier draft prospect, but both names could come off the board in the later rounds.

Ramirez Jr. was previously listed as a Tallahassee Community College player, although he's finished with the junior college level and lists himself as uncommitted on X for his next steps.

His swing certainly looks the part.

Sabathia is a 6-foot-4, 245-pound first baseman for the University of Houston. He played sparingly in his first two seasons at Georgia Tech before joining the Cougars.

At UH this season, Sabathia batted .235 with a pair of home runs.

Both these guys have more college eligibility left, so don't be surprised if they stick in school and try to improve their games further. But they certainly have great baseball genes.
