Marc Jacobs Debuts the Cristina Bag With ‘Who Is She’ Campaign

Marc Jacobs is expanding his American design label’s handbag collection. The Cristina, the latest addition to the designer’s diverse handbag accessory styles, debuted on Thursday in the new “Who Is She” campaign that showcases the bag’s distinctive design and versatility as the forthcoming “It” bag of the fall season.

The Cristina is crafted with Marc Jacobs’ heritage-inspired design and purposeful functionality, according to the brand. The bag takes inspiration from the eponymous designer’s Marc by Marc archival collection and includes the signature scrunch design detail, adding a playful texture to the relaxed shape.

The accessory includes thoughtfully designed compartments in multiple sizes, with prices ranging from $350 to $450. The bag also comes in three distinct styles; The Cristina satchel ($450), The Cristina small satchel ($350) and The Cristina tote ($395).

Colors featured for the iterations of The Cristina bag include dark plum, black and ivory. With signature Marc Jacobs hardware and a versatile design, The Cristina is designed for a range of sartorial looks ideal for fall.

The Cristina was initially teased at Marc Jacobs’ fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection show last July. Julia Fox was among the stars who carried the bag, specifically The Cristina small satchel in an ivory shade, adding a soft juxtaposition to her gothic makeup look.

Fox attended the fall 2025 rtw fashion presentation with a unique beauty statement. The “Uncut Gems” breakout star styled jet-black extensions and shadowy eyes, which contrasted with her exaggerated babydoll dress from the eponymous designer’s spring 2025 rtw collection.

The official campaign for The Cristina bag follows Marc Jacobs’ introduction of the Bark Jacobs bag, a limited-edition design, which was launched in April as a monthlong initiative. This initiative allowed customers to personalize leather goods with hand-painted pet portraits. The campaign applied to two styles from the designer: the brand’s tote bag and Dual bag.
