Ar’Darius Washington among four Ravens returning from injury

With veterans reporting within the hour, we’re looking at four Ravens returning from an injury.

The Baltimore Ravens have a challenging 2025 schedule, facing many playoff teams from the previous season. Ravens rookies reported to the Under Armour Performance Center for training camp on Tuesday morning, signaling the start of an intriguing regular season for Lamar Jackson and a loaded offensive unit.

John Harbaugh’s team has few holes on both sides of the football, but several key positions will see competition, and a breakout campaign from an under-the-radar player could help ignite a run to the Super Bowl in Santa Clara. Expectations are high, and Zach Orr’s defense has added elite talent at all three levels.

With veterans reporting within the hour, we’re looking at four Ravens returning from an injury.

OL Emery Jones

The Ravens placed third-round pick Emery Jones Jr. on the non-football injury list. Jones may return to practice at any time before rosters are reduced to 53 players. A potential roster battle for the left or right guard spot hasn’t materialized because Jones didn’t practice and won’t be ready until late in training camp because of a shoulder injury.

The Ravens selected Jones at No. 91 overall after the offensive tackle spent three seasons at LSU. He was a two-time second-team All-SEC selection.

DB Ar’Darius Washington

Washington suffered a torn Achilles after signing his restricted free agency tender, and will look for a late-season return.

OLB Malik Hamm

Hamm, who was competing for a role in the outside linebacker rotation, was placed on injured reserve for the second year in a row. As a rookie, Hamm initially made the Ravens’ 53-man roster in 2023. Hamm spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve (ankle) but made his presence felt as a pass rusher this spring during OTAs and minicamps.

CB Jalyn Armour-Davis

Armour-Davis suffered a hamstring injury in January and will return to compete in the cornerback battle in what could be his final opportunity in Baltimore.
