Recapping all the moves the Ravens have made this offseason.

With the NFL draft just days away, we are examining every move Baltimore has made this offseason.

The Baltimore Ravens weren’t overly active during the first few days of NFL free agency. Still, the team added a future Hall of Fame wide receiver to the passing game and a versatile linebacker to the special teams.

Even with the inactivity and loss of five key contributors or starters, the team is still in the midst of a Super Bowl window and has eleven 2025 NFL draft picks to help restock.

With the draft just days away, we’re recapping the most significant additions through wave one.

Signed WR Keith Kirkwood to a Reserve/Future contract.

Kirkwood spent the 2024 season on the team’s practice squad but did not play in a regular-season game. He originally signed with the Ravens after participating in the team’s minicamp on a tryout basis last June. Kirkwood appeared in 13 games with four starts in 2023 for the Saints, catching five passes for 37 yards. He was also on the field for 89 special-teams snaps.

Re-signed Ronnie Stanley

Stanley played the entire 2024 regular season, answering some questions on his durability. He also has the high-end tape to get paid. Stanley tied for 11th among offensive tackles with a 92.5% pass block win rate in 2024.

Released DB Arthur Maulet and S Marcus Williams

The move to release Williams comes after he was benched midway through last season and was a healthy scratch from Week 12 on through the AFC divisional round loss to Buffalo. Williams struggled against the pass and allowed 18.4 yards per completion in coverage. Williams was a prize free agent signing ahead of the 2022 season and signed a five-year, $70 million deal.

Signed free agent LB Jake Hummel

Hummel played 77% of the Rams’ special-teams snaps last season and 80% in 2023.

The Ravens also needed more depth at linebacker behind Roquan Smith and Trenton Simpson. Hummel played 74 defensive snaps last season and finished with a career-high 17 tackles.

Re-signed unrestricted free agent FB Patrick Ricard

Signed WR DeAndre Hopkins

Of the 70 wide receivers who’ve had 500 targets since 2013, Hopkins has the fifth-lowest drop rate at 1.6%. Last season, the Ravens’ wide receivers ranked 30th in the NFL with a 5.1% drop rate.

Re-signed Ben Cleveland

Re-signed WR Tylan Wallace

Signed QB Cooper Rush

Signed free agent CB Chidobe Awuzie

The 29-year-old Awuzie is an eight-year veteran who has started 81 career games and is familiar with the AFC North. Awuzie played for the Cincinnati Bengals for three seasons from 2021 to 2023. His best season came in 2021, when he started a career-high 14 games and logged two interceptions, 64 tackles, and 14 passes defensed. He was Pro Football Focus’s 23rd-highest graded cornerback.
