‘And Just Like That…’ Season 3, Episode 11: 45 Thoughts I Had While Watching

You’d think that knowing our days with Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, Seema, Lisa, Anthony, et al are numbered would make me an easier audience for these remaining episodes of And Just Like That… but no!

In any case, the show’s latest episode is serving us Thanksgiving-in-August vibes, which I admittedly don’t hate. Here, find every thought I had (literally) about Season 3, Episode 11 of And Just Like That…

  1. What is this Nancy Meyers-esque bakery?
  2. Hey, the baker is a lady I recognize! Sort of!
  3. Is she the one who burned down her workplace on 30 Rock?
  4. Aw, I love that Carrie was a loyal pie customer during the COVID lockdown.
  5. God, I want a cranky baker to take my side.
  6. Okay, that feels like enough pie talk for me, personally.
  7. I’m so glad there’s a curly-haired fashion diva living in Carrie’s old apartment.
  8. There has to be one per unit, legally!
  9. I love Carrie’s visible lack of commitment to attending Lisette’s Monday-before-Thanksgiving party.
  10. Aw, Charlotte and Harry are hosting?
  11. Does that mean I’m going to have to hear…a lot more about Harry’s penile issues?
  12. Oh wait, JK, Miranda is hosting.
  13. Ooh, focaccia stuffing with oysters and fresh sage? Yum.
  14. It’s no cornbread-chorizo, but it does sound good.
  15. Check out Rock, all femmed up for their school play!
  16. Don’t be weird about this challenge, Charlotte!
  17. I really am not in the mood for a storyline about Charlotte’s feelings about her child’s gender, show.
  18. Aw, gay Italian Bergdorf’s proposal!
  19. I need someone to call my prose “fluid and so moving.”
  20. “How is a woman alone in a garden a tragedy?” Tea. I would love to be alone in a garden right now instead of angrily spritzing my dog with his bad-behavior spray bottle while he barks at a squirrel.
  21. Okay, Miranda, with the little chic lesbian tie!
  22. Why would ambushing your son’s baby mama who has no interest in him at Thanksgiving possibly be a good idea, girl?
  23. Seema and the hot, stinky landscape artist showering together? Ooh la la!
  24. And she’s meeting his sister? Ooh la la, indeed!
  25. This man is serving Aidan-if-he-were-in-any-way-attractive-to-me.
  26. I genuinely like this storyline 🙂
  27. Why is Anthony trying to tank his beautiful relationship?
  28. Does he miss…Stanford Blatch?
  29. Once again, I do not care about this comptroller subplot.
  30. Wow, Rock is pretty good at musical theater!
  31. And they’re rocking the bob, too. No small feat—and I say this as a current bob owner.
  32. Stray perk of having kids I never considered: you get to see a lot of school musical theater. (I’m not being sarcastic, this would genuinely thrill me.)
  33. Herbert’s kind of being a dick, no?
  34. It’s just a comptroller race, babe! Take your woes up with Brad Lander!
  35. Wow, Harry really playing the cancer card to get out of Thanksgiving at Miranda’s.
  36. Now Brady’s being an asshole, too!
  37. Men. Can’t live with them, can’t write them out of the show entirely and retool the show to be centered on a swanky, Gramercy Park-based lesbian commune. (Or can you?)
  38. God, being Carrie’s real estate agent must be exhausting. Poor Seema.
  39. Then again, I guess real estate in New York is always somewhat emotional and high-octane.
  40. Who gets freaked out about coming home to an empty apartment?
  41. Yes, I’m annoying and smug-coupled now, but I loved living alone.
  42. God, Carrie’s fiction is so bad.
  43. Like, what diet Jane Austen nonsense is this?
  44. That’s all we get????
  45. See you next week for the series finale(!).
