Casey Rogers' hair is hard to miss.

And for good reason: He hasn't gotten a haircut in seven years.

Rogers is a defensive tackle in camp with the Buffalo Bills trying to make the team.

According to a new article in the Democrat and Chronicle, his hair is tied to his football career.

Rogers made a promise as a freshman at Nebraska that he wouldn't get a haircut until his football career ended.

"It's a promise we made," Rogers said. "It signifies when we're done. When we cut it, all the hair from here to here was all there when we started this thing. It shows all the hard work. I was able to get to the NFL, play in some games, achieve one of my dreams. When I cut it, it'll signify I did it."

Rogers is from central New York, having attended Westhill High School outside of Syracuse.

He was actually originally a lacrosse commit to SU.

He ended up changing that path and heading to Nebraska, and he finished his college career with two seasons at Oregon.

Rogers went undrafted in 2024 and signed with the New York Giants. He made it off the practice squad in December and blocked a field goal in his NFL debut in Week 14.

The Bills signed Rogers in May, and it's right where he wants to be.

“This is a dream opportunity for me,” Rogers said. “When I was a kid, I wanted to play football for the Buffalo Bills. To do it in front of my family and my hometown, it’s amazing. Yes, the room is loaded, but there’s a window for opportunity everywhere. I’m going to give it everything I have, and at the end of the day, I can’t be mad about it.”
