When the TV adaptation of Jenny Han’s novel series “The Summer I Turned Pretty” debuted in 2022, my friends and I instantly got hooked on the captivatingly confusing love triangle between Belly Conklin (Lola Tung), Conrad Fisher (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno). In the early days, the show’s distributor, Prime Video, would release multiple episodes at once, making for a perfectly balanced, bingeable experience. Fast forward to Season 3, which is currently airing, and the fan demand has arguably gotten to executives’ heads — viewers must now wait a full week in between each episode. (In other words, I have to spend seven excruciating days wondering when Belly will finally realize Conrad is her soulmate and that, well, Jeremiah sucks.)
Luckily, Han and the show’s costume department have given me and my fellow obsessed watchers plenty of content to analyze during our downtime, specifically when it comes to the show’s wardrobe.
Online, there’s speculation that Taylor Swift’s 2012 lyrics to “Red” are largely responsible for what color Belly wears when and with whom — “Losing him was blue like I’ve never known” (worn in the presence of Jeremiah, whom she is likely about to break things off with), “But loving him was red…burning red” (worn when she’s with Conrad, potentially her endgame).

On top of these vividly hued Easter eggs, the cast’s wardrobe is filled with fashion and beauty items from relevant brands that fans can actually shop. So, I put my detective hat on and found everything featured in the show — from main character-approved Glossier lipsticks to “burning red” Reformation sets — that’s still in stock.
Below, see the items spotted on Belly, Taylor, Conrad and more, and be sure to come back each week to see the new additions from every episode.
