Cutrone equalises, scores early in Parma đŸ”„ Orsolini sinks a poor Como

So many regrets for Como: while the Larians lose in Bologna, Cutrone is already scoring with his new team, Parma, netting the equalizer against Atalanta.

Here’s how the first Saturday matches of Serie A’s second matchday went.

One goal from Orsolini is enough for Bologna to beat Como 1-0: the RossoblĂč earn their first points in the league after their defeat to Roma, while the Larians stall after a good showing against Lazio.

The first half was balanced and goalless, with Van Der Brempt’s injury in the 27th minute the only notable event.

The match opened up in the second half: a surging Bologna overturned the field in the 59th minute, finding Castro beyond the defense. He laid it off to Orsolini who, from the edge of the area, didn’t miss—helped by a deflection from Valle.

Tenth home goal for Orsolini since last season: only Kean has done better.

Atalanta took the lead with Pasalic, but Parma managed to snatch a draw thanks to their new signing Patrick Cutrone.

The match only opened up in the 79th minute, when Pasalic volleyed in from the edge of the area after a scramble.

But Parma managed to snatch an important point with Cutrone just four minutes later.

Free kick from three-quarters, a powerful header from Delprato saved by Carnesecchi.

It was Cutrone himself, who had just arrived from Como the day before, who pounced on the ball: first goal for him in the Crociati shirt and first points for Parma in the league. He barely had time to unpack his suitcase.
