Before the NFL draft arrives, let’s take a position-by-position look at the Jacksonville Jaguars’ current depth chart on the offensive side of the ball.
While we know what the pressing needs often are, taking a 30,000-foot view of the entire roster can help us further decipher where other draft picks could be made, specifically ones where depth and/or competition are needed at specific positions.
The Jaguars will enter the 2025 NFL draft with 10 total selections–tied for the second-most among all teams, which provides them with ample flexibility.
Here is a look at where the roster currently stands on offense and where potential draft additions could be made.
Jaguars quarterbacks
- Trevor Lawrence
- Nick Mullens
- John Wolford
Particularly with 10 picks, the Jaguars could add here. According to ESPN, they’ve shown interest in Syracuse’s Kyle McCord. An addition at this position could provide Wolford with competition for that potential third roster spot, and a developmental long-term backup option for when Mullens’ short-term deal is up.
Jaguars running backs
- Tank Bigsby
- Trevor Etienne
- Keilan Robinson
With only three running backs here, depth is needed. Also, looking ahead to 2026, Etienne is a free agent, and Bigsby will be in the final year of his deal. But beyond that, the draft is loaded at running back and the Jaguars should acquire some of that talent, especially with how important this position is in Liam Coen’s offense.
Jaguars wide receivers
- Dyami Brown
- Joshua Cephus
- Gabe Davis
- Louis Rees-Zammit
- Brian Thomas Jr.
- Austin Trammell
- Parker Washington
- David White Jr.
The need here is twofold. The Jaguars let four receivers go during free agency and only brought one in (Dyami Brown). But more importantly, with Coen wanting to spread the ball around, the Jaguars need to make sure they have adequate depth behind Brian Thomas Jr. to take some of the attention off of him. Hopefully, Parker Washington and Brown can provide that, but that shouldn’t be assumed and neither player should stop the Jaguars from making an addition.
Jaguars tight ends
- Shawn Bowman
- Hunter Long
- Johnny Mundt
- Patrick Murtagh
- Brenton Strange
The Jaguars really like what they have in Brenton Strange. The additions of Johnny Mundt and Hunter Long helped raise the floor of this position. So tight end isn’t a position that has to be added to, but just like we described at wide receiver, Mundt and Long shouldn’t stop an addition from being made either, particularly with neither player signing a long-term deal.
Jaguars offensive linemen
- Ezra Cleveland
- Dennis Daley
- Chuma Edoga
- Luke Fortner
- Javon Foster
- Robert Hainsey
- Anton Harrison
- Cooper Hodges
- Fred Johnson
- Walker Little
- Patrick Mekari
- Cole Van Lanen
After four free agent signings, James Gladstone raised the floor of this position group. However, when it comes to what they have here with their projected starting five, there are unknowns. So when there are question marks, add competition and give yourself options. Free agency addressed the floor, the Jaguars should use the draft to address the ceiling here.
