Role Overview

ASB PR is seeking a highly motivated Public Relations Assistant to join our growing team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in communications, media and brand storytelling. The PR assistant will play a key role in supporting day-to-today client work, media relations and administrative tasks to help ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
● Draft press materials including media pitches and press releases
● Conduct media research, build media lists and monitor coverage
● Manage client reporting, including coverage and monthly recap reports
● Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining contact databases, managing team expenses, managing and updating showroom lookbook and more
● Support event planning and execution, including logistics coordination and on-site assistance
● Assist senior team members with brainstorming creative ideas for campaigns and clients initiatives
Qualifications
● 0-2 years of relevant experience experience (internships in PR and/or communications)
● Strong organizational skills
● Passion for media, storytelling and staying current on trends
● Detail-oriented, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
● Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
