Gwyneth Paltrow and Apple Martin front GapStudio campaign

Gap announced the launch of GapStudio Fall 2025 Collection 03 with a campaign starring Gwyneth Paltrow and her daughter, Apple Martin. Photographed by Mario Sorrenti with creative direction by Zac Posen, the campaign also features a short film directed by Look & Julian Klincewicz. Available in select international and U.S. stores and online at gap.com on Oct. 2, the GapStudio Fall 2025 Collection 03 features 38 pieces, including a denim jacket, satin slip dresses, cropped cardigans and more. {Fashionista inbox}

Silvia Venturini Fendi steps down as creative director

Effective Oct. 1, Silvia Venturini Fendi is stepping down as Fendi’s creative director. She will assume the role of honorary president of the Roman house, where she will focus on supporting Fendi’s heritage, along with promoting the maison’s history, craftsmanship and the world of Fendi Casa. From 1992 until 2019, she seconded Karl Lagerfeld in the artistic direction, and since 1994, she was responsible for the accessories and menswear lines and lately the women’s collection. Zara Larsson launches intimates and apparel brand

Zara Larsson is launching Main Rose, an intimates and apparel brand. Her first collection drops on Oct. 15 with 30 styles spanning underwear and loungewear pieces. The Swedish musician designed mesh-style wired bras with matching underwear, cami tops, pants and long-sleeve T-shirts in shades of bright pink, brown, caramel, burgundy, black and white. {WWD/paywalled}

Coty considers sale of CoverGirl

Coty is conducting a strategic review of CoverGirl and its other mass-market beauty brands, and will consider options including selling or spinning them off. In the latest quarter, Coty reported a sales drop fueled by a 12% decline in the company’s mass-market beauty business unit, which includes brands such as Sally Hansen, Max Factor and Rimmel. Coty plans to lean into its higher-end beauty brands as well as its mass-market fragrances, and merge them into a single business unit. {The Wall Street Journal/paywalled}

Zara taps 50 creators for its 50th anniversary

In celebration of Zara’s 50th birthday, the fashion brand partnered with 50 creatives to design pieces spanning jackets, bags, chairs, sleeping bags and more. Contributors include Annie Leibovitz, Anna Sui, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Rosalía, Pat McGrath, Pierpaolo Piccioli, Harry Lambert and more. “Virgil Abloh: World’s Fair” kicks off in Paris

“Virgil Abloh: World’s Fair” is a multi-disciplinary tribute that celebrates the late creative director through an exhibition and cultural activations at this season’s Paris Fashion Week. The event was organized by the Virgil Abloh Archive — an arm of Virgil Abloh Securities, the entity conceived by Abloh’s widow, Shannon, to preserve his creative works and make them accessible — and underwritten by Nike.
