Heidi Klum Brings Minimal Mule Trend to L’Oréal’s Düsseldorf Pop-Up

Heidi Klum kept it breezy in Düsseldorf, finishing her ivory minimalism look with matching mules at the L’Oréal Paris pop-up.

The slip-on style featured a wide strap that curved across the toes, set on what appears to be a slim mid-heel. Their unfussy cut played up proportion without adding weight, a quiet nod to the season’s fixation on minimal mules. The heel, pitched low enough for daywear, gave the set a practical edge compared to the four-inch stilettos she often favors on carpets.

Klum’s outfit extended the same logic. She paired the mules with a satin blouse and matching skirt, the hem breaking into a soft flare above the shoes. Amber sunglasses and a short strand necklace kept the palette tight. Her amber shades and short necklace stayed in step with the ivory scheme, down to a pale manicure that extended the palette to every detail.

Klum has been treating footwear as a throughline this fall, pairing each look with shoes that echo its tone as closely as the cut or fabric. At Oktoberfest just a little more than a week ago, she laced into Celine’s Alan sneakers in optic white beneath a cream satin dirndl. Days earlier, she matched a crimson dirndl at HeidiFest in Munich with candy-red pumps and frilled socks, leaning into the season’s socks-and-heels debate. On “Good Morning America” in August, she sharpened Belania Daley’s denim polka-dot dress with navy satin stilettos, keeping the palette tight even as the textures shifted.

The Düsseldorf pop-up followed L’Oréal’s Le Défilé at Paris’s Hôtel de Ville, staged under the “Liberté. Égalité. Sororité.” banner. Klum also walked the runway there, along with a bevy of other celebrities, as Kendall Jenner closed the show, a star-stacked lineup that underlined L’Oréal’s empowerment brief and set the week’s tone.
