That’s a wrap on Spring 2026’s creative director shuffle. Nicholas Aburn stepped into the top position at Area, while Louise Trotter (a.k.a. one of the few women helming a luxury house) took the reins at Bottega Veneta. All eyes were on Paris Fashion Week as the fashion capital welcomed a whole slew of switch-ups: Glenn Martens balanced Maison Margiela’s eccentricity with practicality, Matthieu Blazy expanded Chanel’s universe and Jonathan Anderson breathed new life into Dior.
