Detroit Lions fans chant for team, Jared Goff at game against Cincinnati Bengals
Detroit Lions fans chant for the team and quarterback Jared Goff during the team’s away game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025.
The Detroit Lions’ injury report is growing ahead of this week’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Lions practiced without five starters Wednesday: Amon-Ra St. Brown, Kalif Raymond, Taylor Decker, Kerby Joseph and Terrion Arnold. Backups Sione Vaki and Zach Cunningham also missed practice, and starting safety Brian Branch was limited in position drills.
Decker did not play in last week’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals and his status for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs is uncertain.
The Lions signed tackle Dan Skipper from the practice squad to the 53-man roster before practice, and Lions coach Dan Campbell indicated last week either Skipper or Gio Manu could start at left tackle if Decker can’t play Sunday.
Joseph also has been limited by a knee injury for weeks, Arnold is out indefinitely with a shoulder injury, Raymond suffered a neck injury against the Bengals and St. Brown is a new addition to the injury report.
Lions receivers coach Scottie Montgomery said the team is “very hopeful” Raymond can return this week.
Vaki has missed two straight games with a groin injury, and Cunningham has been out the past two weeks with a pulled hamstring.
