Post-Bachelorette, Lauren Sánchez Hits Cannes With Eva Longoria

It has been quite the whirlwind week for Lauren Sánchez. Earlier this week, Sánchez—who is set to marry Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in Venice sometime this summer—celebrated her bachelorette party in Paris with notable guests including Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry, Eva Longoria, and more. (On the itinerary? Private rooftop dinners, luxurious shopping trips, and boat rides on the Seine.) Now, Sánchez is keeping the party going by heading to the star-studded Cannes Film Festival.

On Monday evening, Sánchez attended the Global Gift Gala in Cannes alongside close friend Longoria, where she was on hand to accept the Women Empowerment Award. The award honored her philanthropy, as well as her advocacy work, through the Bezos Earth Fund and This Is About Humanity. “Tonight isn’t about celebrating just one person’s achievements,” she said in her speech. “It is about recognizing our collective ability to light the way for each other, to lift people towards a future with empathy, dignity, and possibility.”

Naturally, both Sánchez and Longoria wore the customary glamorous gowns that Cannes requires. Sánchez chose a black, strapless sweetheart-neckline gown with crystal embroidery by Dolce & Gabbana. Around her neck, a diamond-encrusted choker with a square-cut center stone was a showstopper. Longoria, meanwhile, chose an embellished Elie Saab gown that also featured a sweetheart neckline. (Friends who gala together, dress together.) The star accessorized with some statement diamonds.

Will Sánchez and Longoria be hitting up even more glitzy Cannes parties throughout the rest of the week? Only time will tell—but our instincs say the answer is yes.
