Alabama's Ryan Williams Catches Attention with Super Bowl-Winning Workout Partner

The Alabama Crimson Tide produced a lot of offensive power last season, finishing the year ranked 22nd in points per game (33.8) and 42nd in total yards per game (410.2).

One of the biggest contributors to that was wide receiver Ryan Williams, who had an impressive freshman season, appearing in 13 games, racking up 48 receptions, 865 yards (led the team) and four touchdowns (led the team). He added 48 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

He is gearing up for his second season, and it’s clear that Williams is still putting in work during the offseason, as he posted an Instagram story of himself and teammate Isaiah Horton working out with Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith.

Of course, Smith is coming off a Super Bowl victory with the Eagles and had a legendary career with the Crimson Tide that lasted four years (2017 to 2020); he even won the Heisman Trophy in his senior season.

The photos have quickly made their rounds on social media, with many believing it means big things are coming for Williams and Alabama.

“Perfect person to learn from for him. Same type of player,” said one comment.

“Yea we’re winning the natty” said another.

“bro i’m so ready for this season, this off-season looks completely different from the last. #19 otw,” a third added.

A fourth stated, “Ryan Williams heisman season coming.”

“Demon season loading…” a fifth continued.

“Ryan is learning from one of the best!!!!!!!” said another.

The expectations are certainly high for Williams to take a big jump in 2025, as ESPN listed him and Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith as the first-team wide receiver selections in their “Way-Too-Early college football All-America team” article.
