A Champagne Cruise With Chopard: Caroline Scheufele Hosts Vogue100 Aboard RH3

It had already been a dazzling week for Caroline Scheufele, the artistic director and co-president of Chopard. She had walked the red carpet with Bella Hadid at the opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival. But the festivities were far from over. On Saturday night, she would take the stage with Angelina Jolie to present this year’s Trophée Chopard—an annual prize that celebrates rising talent at the festival, which the maison has supported since 1998. There, amid a flurry of diamonds, roses, and famous faces, Scheufele would remind the crowd of cinema’s power to foster new dreams in a fractured world.

Earlier that afternoon, Scheufele welcomed a more intimate group aboard RH3, a quietly opulent yacht conceived by RH as part of its expanding design universe. Members of Vogue100, friends of the house, and international tastemakers gathered in the IGY Vieux-Port de Cannes for a celebratory Champagne cruise—one that seamlessly blended glamour with restraint, conviviality with conversation.

The 127-foot expedition yacht is a study in understated luxury. Its crisp lines, naval-gray hull, and minimalist interior palette offer a sharp contrast to the gaudy superyachts often spotted nearby. Rather than flash or spectacle, RH3 prizes materiality and mood: whitewashed oak walls, caramel leather seating, charcoal velvet banquettes, and vast windows that frame the Côte d’Azur like a living painting.

As flutes were filled and passed around, the crowd mingled easily, chatting about the festival’s films, the dinner ahead, and the unmistakable Scheufele touch: everything considered, everything exquisite.

Eventually, the group returned to the Hôtel Martinez, where Chopard had set up its Riviera HQ. There, on the rooftop terrace, guests slipped into diamond-studded belts and chandelier earrings as the sun began to sink over the Mediterranean. The party was just getting started.
