On Tuesday night, Nordstrom continued its support of the Seattle Art Museum’s annual “Spring Into Art” benefit. The evening kicked off with a cocktail reception and tour of the museum’s “Ai, Rebel: The Art and Activism of Ai Weiwei” exhibition, which opened earlier this spring and runs through mid-September.
This year’s event, hosted by the Seattle Art Museum Supporters, also featured a runway presentation of looks from Giambattista Valli’s fall 2025 collection, with the designer in attendance. On Wednesday, supporters on the hunt for their next gala look were able to shop an exclusive nine-piece Giambattista Valli capsule collection, available at select Nordstrom locations. The retailer’s Downtown Seattle and New York flagships also unveiled a limited-time brand installation, inspired by Valli’s “floral fascination.”
Past fashion partners for Spring Into Art have included Wes Gordon for Carolina Herrera in 2024, and Altuzarra in 2023.
The museum benefit also capped off a notable Tuesday for Nordstrom, which finalized a $6.25 billion, all-cash deal to take the company private.
